Female genital mutilation: estimating girls at risk
This tender is announced with a view to select the best proposal for the implementation of the study ‘Female genital mutilation: estimating girls at risk’ in 6 selected Member States (Belgium, Greece, France, Italy, Cyprus and Malta).
The study will contribute to EIGE's efforts to undertake regular female genital mutilation risk estimations and trend assessments, ensuring comparability of data across EU Member States by using EIGE's 2014 methodology on estimating girls at risk of female genital mutilation. A comparative analysis in accordance with this methodology will cover the 6 selected Member States. The study will provide recommendations for improvement or update of EIGE's methodology and contribute to more effective policies and services to prevent FGM and protect girls at risk.
The geographical scope for the update of existing information will include all 28 EU Member States.
